Howdy and Happy Hump Day! It’s all about Sleepy Hollow! Well, mostly, anyway!
Let’s start of with location, location, location. Yesterday the fab Sleepy Hollow film crew was spotted at a very charming corner house on Pender Ave. Today they are running at least two units. One of which is the NHC Courthouse, the location they use as the exterior of the police station. Another unit will be out and about today filming some driving scenes on MLK between N. College and N Kerr. They will be going with the flow, so no traffic delays due to filming.
We can add Alias star Victor Garber to the Sleepy Hollow cast list. He is playing Ichabod Crane’s father. Crane mentioned papa bear in episode 9. What do we know about him? He’s an Oxford professor. That’s all we know for now. Garber is expect , and he will appear in at least one episode.
Yesterday, the news story came out about some set thievery on the set of Sleepy Hollow. Boo! What’s wrong with people? About $14,000 worth of lighting cable, weighing around 1,000 lbs. left the set which was across from Screen Gems. It happened sometime overnight, early Monday morning. Thank goodness Screen Gems has enough equipment to run multiple productions at once plus we have some great production gear companies that could always come to the rescue. But still, I hope they nab the folks that did it!
