THE WILMYWOOD DAILY – 05/19/2014 Short History of Decay, Kristen Wiig, Legislative Day in Raleigh

Happy Monday Wilmywood!  I hope you enjoyed the wonder weather and fun this weekend. Let’s do this!

A Short History of DecayHere’s your chance to see the locally shot comedy, A Short History of Decay.  It’s getting excellent reviews!  It’s about a failed writer (Bryan Greenberg) discovers unexpected beauty and richness in the marriage of his ailing parents (Linda Lavin, Harris Yulin) after he moves to Florida to take care of them.  Of course,  our fabulous Wrightsville beach served as the beaches on the Gulf Coast.

A Short History of Decay

Max Steel is off except for a minor driving scene they will be shooting today.  Under the Dome shooting off Sunnyvale Dr. and Sleepy Hollow is on the soundstages today.

Kristen WiigICYMI: We were so bummed that Kristen Wiig wouldn’t be here because the feature film The Heart fizzled out, however, it was a pleasant surprise to see she has been cast in what we still call Loomis Fargo to star opposite Zach Galifianakis and Owen Wilson.  Relativity has already set a release date for the untitled armored car project. It is  Aug. 14, 2015.

If you haven’t seen this, Robert Conley and the crew did a phenomenal job! Keep It Rolling is an 11minute  short documentary about the North Carolina Film Tax Incentive.  WATCH IT NOW!

The most important people that need to attend are the small businesses. These are the folks we need to put on a bus and send up to Raleigh. So whatever businesses you are friends with please reach out to them and pass this message along. Its so imperative that they come. More important than the crew more important than the background extras because when they see businesses it will really hit home.
