THE WILMYWOOD DAILY – 06/26/2014 – Incentives Update, Tammy, Under the Dome, Orlando’s Comedy Show and more.

CollegeFund_NCFilmRallyYesterday during the press conference at the NCGA in Raleigh, the Governor was asked to come to set while the short session is underway before decisions are made and see for himself and fully understand what is at stake.  Also, Mayor Saffo along with Bill Vasser, Susi Hamilton, Ted David and Rep. Moore from Mecklenburg County spoke about how important the incentives are and they are asking the legislators to extend the film incentives for another year before making any decisions.   Please continue to call Speaker Tillis and Gov. Pat McCrory‘s office. Tell them your story, let them know what would happen if the film incentives went away. Make it personal. Let them see just how many people if affects and how.

Lots of Wilmywood love on the talk show circuits as we gear up for two premieres: Tammy and Under the Dome.

First up, it’s Dean Norris on Conan this week. He told a funny story about his time here in Wilmington.

Today, I have the honor of hanging with the awesome Under the Dome cast: Eddie, Rachelle, Colin, Alexander, Dean, Mike, Grace, Karla as well as producers Neal and Jack.  Last chance to submit your questions! Comment below and I will literally ask FOR YOU!

Melissa McCarthy will be on The Daily Show today and her hubby Ben Falcone will be on Live! With Kelly & Michael this morning.

ICYMI:  Wilmywood star Jason Sudeikis is in talks to join our North Carolina boy, Zach Galafianakis, along with Owen Wilson and Kristen Wiig for the comedy Loomis Fargo or as they are calling it now, “Untitled Armored Car Project.” Jason will play a hit man this time around.  I will keep you posted! Production begins in about two weeks in Asheville and they will head to Wilmington for two weeks as well.
