Happy Tuesday Wilmywood. A few things to chat about this morning! Let’s start off with locations today.
Blue Mountain State is in Currie one more time before they head into Wilmywood
Bolden is filming at St. Mary’s Church today.
Vacationland begins tomorrow. They head to Reggies 42nd Street Tavern tomorrow.
Sleepy Hollow shoots at the sound stages today.
So, over the past few months we’ve known it’s not a matter of IF Sleepy Hollow will leave North Carolina for season 3. The question has always been WHERE? With the new film grant in place for the first 6 months of 2015, and half of it already allocated to Under the Dome, Sleepy Hollow spends way too much money to stay. There has been talk about Vancouver (which was top of the list for a while), also Philly, Louisiana, New York and Atlanta. Now the latest rumors are that Atlanta on the top of the list. Now with that being said, there has been no official announcement about a season 3. So, we shall see in the coming weeks if the rumors have any validity.
And speaking of Georgia and their BOOMING film industry, The Waking Dead Cafe has opened in Senoia, Georgia where most of the show is shot. Yep, another small business benefitting from the film industry. Just thought I would point that out. CHECK IT OUT NOW
