
According to the Associated Press, The NC House has given final approval to its two-year state government spending plan with a rare showing of broad bipartisan support for a budget.
The House chamber voted 93-23 this morning for the measure that would spend over $22 billion in the year starting July 1.
As it stands, the NC House has the NC Film Grant at $40M per fiscal year for the next 2 years with no change in the language of the grant. Now, it’s off to the NC Senate. They will have a budget of their own next month.
