I am not ready to give a full analysis of the events that took place  last night.  That needs to be in a stand alone blog.  So, with that being said, let’s get to today’s Wilmywood News. Let’s venture off first into the Charlotte area.
tuskThe Charlotte shot feature film Tusk, is headed to Blu-ray (plus Digital HD) and DVD (plus Digital) December 30th from Lionsgate Home Entertainment. It was written and directed by Kevin Smith (Clerks) and stars Michael Parks, Justin Long , Haley Joel Osment (AThe Sixth Sense), and Genesis Rodriguez.

Variety says Tusk is “Kevin Smith’s very best work.” Sweet!

evergreenAlso, NC Film News tweeted this morning that Balsam Falls (filmed as An Evergreen Christmas) which was shot in Charlotte and Belmont last year is out on DVD. The film stars Charleene Closshey, Robert Loggia, Tyler Ritter, Booboo Stewart and Naomi Judd in this heart-warming musical holiday tale about “facing your past, rediscovering your voice, and fulfilling your dreams.”
