Wilmywood shot ‘The Remaining’ goes graphic novel

The Remaining. Illustrated by Kyle Hotz. Kingstone Comics.

Even though it won’t be in theaters until September 5th, it looks like our Wilmywood shot flick, The Remaining, has been adapted into a comic.  Kingstone Comics, a Leesburg Christian comic book publisher, is launching the graphic novel digitally on ComiXology, a website of comics collections, this Friday and will be available in retail stores the following Friday, August 22.

remainingCoverKingstone only hires the best of the best when it comes to their line of comics and graphic novels, and they hired artist Kyle Hotz (Captain America/The Hood) which took nearly one year to complete.

Casey LaScala, who wrote and directed the feature film is also the author of the graphic novel along side Roland Mann.

Kingstone’s publications can be found in retail stores such as Walmart, Barnes & Noble and Family Christian Stores.  Also look for it at ComiXology, iVerse Media and Kingstone Comics.

The Remaining follows a group of young friends who survive after a series of worldwide cataclysmic events marked in the Book of Revelations.

THE REMAINING is an action-packed supernatural thriller that addresses questions of life, love and belief against an apocalyptic backdrop. A group of close friends gather for a wedding, but the celebration is shattered by a series of cataclysmic events and enemies foretold by biblical end-times prophecies. The survivors face a horrifying, uncertain future as they scramble for safety, but as their world collapses around them in chaos and terror will they choose real life through faith, or just try to survive? Based on the Affirm Films / Sony Pictures Entertainment title of the same name releasing nationally in theaters September 2014.
