JamesGarnerHollywood legend, James Garner who has graced us with his presence here in North Carolina, has passed away at the age of 86 in his home in Brentwood, which is just outside LA. If you remember he played Red Stevens in The Ultimate Gift which was partially shot in Charlotte.  And of course he was here back in 2001 for the Divine Secrets of the Yaya Sisterhood playing Shep Walker.

The Longest Ride is heading out to three locations today: They are heading to Wallace as well as Orange St. and back to the Cameron Art Museum.

Sleepy Hollow heads to Bijou Park this afternoon.

Wilmywood shot “Tammy,” added $7.6 million to its box office total over the weekend pulling in 71.2M domestically.

Blumhouse Productions has pushed back the release date for our Wilmywood shot Jessabelle. Originally, it was going to be released next month, but it will now hit theaters and on-demand services the week after Halloween, November 7th.

“It’s a ghostly tale of Jessabelle who returns to her childhood home in Louisiana to recuperate from a horrific car accident, Jessabelle comes face to face with a long-tormented spirit that has been seeking her return and this spirit has no intention of letting her escape.”

Jessabelle stars Sarah Snook, Mark Webber, and of course one of our favorite local actors David Andrews.

The Jessebelle trailer has FINALLY been released! Shot back in 2012, the supernatural flick is about a young woman recuperating at her father’s run-down home after a tragic accident.  No sooner than she arrives, Jessabelle encounters a terrifying presence with a connection to her long-deceased mother. It stars Sarah Snook, Mark Webber, Joelle Carter and of course our local favorite David Andrews.  They shot the flick off 421 on the Cape Fear River.  Most of it was shot in Town Creek at a house on River Road back.   WATCH TRAILER NOW
