BREAKING: Under the Dome numbers are up!!

Under the Dome numbers are up!!

Vulture.com’s Joe Adalian just announced:

UNDER THE DOME ticks UP to a 2.8 A18-49. Surprised if S2 announcement doesn’t come at Eye’s TCA session next week, if not earlier.

TV by the numbers is reporting with their overnight numbers that Under the Dome carried 11.37 million viewers with a 2.8 this week (up 4 percent from last week’s 2.7).  (Source: The Nielsen Company) Even the new little prince couldn’t outshine the Domies.  It was quite clear who was king of the night! We will find out if indeed the numbers adjust up later today for E5: Blue on Blue!

Will post more on this blog when info streams in!

UNDER THE DOME: Ratings for Episode 1.4 (Airdate: July 15, 2013) STEADY BABY!

UPDATE: Ratings have adjusted up  from”10.8M viewers to 11.13 M  viewers!”

UNDER THE DOME was the night’s #1 broadcast in viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49! It is holding strong to its #1 spot based on the ratings from Monday and rising slightly in viewership from last week.   This week Nielsen reported UTD was up +6% in adults 25-54 adding +90,000 viewers!  Overall, UTD is CRUSHING the “competition” almost doubling ABC/NBC shows combined in that time slot!

Joe Adalian ‏@TVMoJoe of Vulture.com tweeted:

“Steady as she goes for UNDER THE DOME: 10.8M (now 11.13) people watched Monday’s episode, which averaged a 2.7 A18-49 rating.”

“One impressive aspect of UNDER THE DOME’s demo makeup: It appeals almost equally to men and women, esp. w/ young viewers.”

“DOME’s 2.7 outperformed *combined* 18-49 scores of MISTRESSES (1.1) and SIBERIA (0.8) by 50%.”
