Look out Wilmywood! Another feature film is coming our way. And it’s one of those films you can be proud to be in, too! Yellow Footprints (working title) is a coming of age movie that rises above the war and tells an empowering story of a Female Marine who struggles at home and on the front lines in a traditionally all male Marine Infantry Unit. The title will probably be changed before its release.
Production offices will open at the end of the month for this indie-film with folks going into production in September.
Crew members: You can begin submitting your resumes next week. I will will be sure and give you the email address on Monday.
The leads are yet to be announced but from what I am hearing there will be auditions for multiple supporting roles here in Wilmington. They want as many locals on the production as possible. As soon as I get more details, I will let you know. And I would like to point out the director of the film – Yeah, that’s our girl, Casey Mako! Woop Woop! Talk about empowering!
