Britt Roberston goes for The Longest Ride

Britt_WilmywoodBritt Roberston is coming out from the Chester’s Mill dome and heading in The Longest Ride. (We all know Britt as “Angie” in Under The Dome.) Britt is going to play the role of “Sophia,” the college co-ed who meets and falls in love with a cowboy named, “Luke” who is played by Hollywood hunk, Scott Eastwood. Britt has been pretty busy adding film projects to her already full resume of over 19 movies. On top filming UTD and now The Longest Ride, she is working on a film with George Clooney called Tomorrowland and another one by Daniel Barnz titled, Cake. Wilmywood will keep you posted (as usual) with all the filming details. Congratulations, Britt!

Production begins June 16th.

HilarieLast night, I posted a letter that One Tree Hills Hilarie Burton shared with me to pass along to you. Although she no longer lives here, North Carolina and the film crew will always be in her heart.

To the North Carolina voters and legislators,
Please forgive me for not being able to attend this weekend’s film rally. I’m already signed up to attend the Olevolos2014 fundraiser for a One Tree Hill castmate – Bryan Greenberg – up in NYC. But I wanted to send along a message of support for the NC Film community as the State’s current incentive is up for discussion.  READ LETTER NOW
